I have also been lost at Tikal, and it's kind of sad that Ryan has now been lost twice. I think that the person that designs the maps might also have a second career as a Westin Christmas Tree assembler.
Yes, the Tikal maps make me wonder if perhaps we haven't advanced so much as a civilization.
